Removing example feeds

Hi

Really wonderful app, with many great improvements over the previous version!

Is there a way that I can remove the example feeds from the installation files, i.e prior to the installation itself? We're looking at using RSSOwl at our office, but our managers are concerned about the non-work related examples. Instead, I would create an OPML file for import that has only work-specific feeds, and point users to that file to import.
Thanks!

When you open the plugin

When you open the plugin org.rssowl.ui_2.0.0.xxx.jar in the plugins folder you will see a file called default_feeds.xml which is the OPML file RSSOwl imports on first startup. Simply replace this file with the desired OPML file and it should work.

Where to find the cache Folder in RSSOWL 2.0?

Hi,

I am using RSS OWL 2.0, Milestone 8

Can you please tell me, where the cache messages are stored in RSSOWL 2.0?

In case of previous versions it was stored in
c:/Documents and Setting/USER.NAME/.rssowl/cache
